1. Programme Manager, Waste Management – KCIC/01/11/2023 – SWIFT

The SWIFT program is a 3-year program that aims to support 110 small and medium-sized enterprises in the waste management sector in Kenya. It will focus on implementing innovative business models that support Kenya to practice effective waste management through circular economy approaches. The aim is to generate over 2000 direct and 4,000 indirect jobs, enhance the livelihoods of over 5,000 households, and generate revenues of up to USD 10 million in the pre-urban and Urban economies. The programme will be implemented for 3 years from January 2024 to December 2026. KCIC is seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill the position of Programme Manager, Waste Management responsible for overall management of the programme.

3. Business Analyst – Greenbiz Programme (2)

KCIC is currently implementing several long-term programmes including GreenBiz supported by the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA). The GreenBiz programme focuses on increasing commercialization and scaling up of climate-smart innovations. These innovations are to create decent jobs, increase access to low-carbon energy sources, increase community and household resilience to climate change as well and contribute to other environmental and social benefits. GreenBiz targets climate smart businesses with climate-smart innovations as its primary clients on five thematic areas namely renewable energy, agribusiness, water management, waste management, and commercial forestry. These clients must have developed a prototype and are within KCIC’s five thematic areas of focus.

KCIC is recruiting two (2) Business Analysts to be based in Nairobi.
