If you borrowed a Branch loan and wish to repay the loan, below is the outlined step by step procedure for repaying a Branch loan using M-PESA. All you need is to have a loaded M-PESA account and the Branch paybill number and the phone number used to borrow the loan.
- Go to your Safaricom Toolkit on your phone
- Select M-PESA option
- Choose the Lipa na M-PESA option
- Select Paybill from the list
- Enter Business Number, key in the Branch paybill number 998608
- Enter the account number (Phone number used in borrowing the loan)
- Key in the Amount being repaid
- Enter M-PESA PIN and submit
- A confirmation message from M-PESA confirming payment and from Branch as well.
You can also repay Branch loan directly from the Branch loan app. Just launch the app and make sure you have data. Enter the login details i.e. phone number and PIN or password. Proceed to login and unclock with your branch PIN. Go to My Loan and tap on the loan you wish to repay. Click on Repay and enter M-PESA PIN to complete the payment.
