Courses offered at Asumbi Teachers Training College

Asumbi Teachers Training College is a public registered Teachers Training College formally established through the effort of Catholic Church in 1936. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Education, specifically the State Department of Basic Education Act 2013. The institution offers training mainly in teacher training courses. In this article we focus on the Courses offered at Asumbi Teachers Training College (Asumbi TTC courses). Being solely a Teachers Training College, the institution does not have 10s of courses but focuses on the few courses that they offer. Some of the courses will be shared in this article by us.

The college’s main responsibility is to train teachers for primary schools, covering early childhood to senior primary levels. It has the mandate to provide the required leadership in designing suitable plans and strategies that will contribute to high and sustainable social economic development.

Asumbi TTC is located in Rangwe constituency, Kajulu Sub-location, East Kagan Location in Rangwe Division of Homa Bay Sub-county in Homa Bay County; within the Nyanza region of Kenya.
