How to download the Public Service Internship Offer Letter 2024

The Public Service Commission conducted an interview late last year (2023) for the Public Internship Programme (PSIP). Those who were successful have been appointed and their Internship offer letters are already out for download. These individuals who have qualified for appointment as interns will be reporting from 1st April 2024 (01-04-2024) to the respective stations. The internship program by Public Service runs for Twelve (12) months from the date of reporting. In this article, you will learn how to download the public service internship offer letter.

The Public Service places successful applicants in offices and departments all over Kenya. The offer letters for the internship are out and accessible. They can be downloaded from the Public Service Portal. The Public Service Internship Programme Cohort 6 will come into effect on 1st April 2024.

How to Download the Public Service Internship Offer Letter

To download the Internship Appointment Letter from Public Service, follow the outlined procedure below. Additionally, only those who were successful can download the letter upon accepting the appointment. Follow the procedure below: –

• Login to your Public Service Portal using your ID Number as username and your set password during registration and subsequent applications. If you’ve forgotten you can reset the password easily.
• Once logged in, there are two menus Click on the Appointed Interns Section on the left panel
• Click on the Offer Acceptance Form and if you accept select the Accept button and submit. If you decline click on Reject and type in the reason for your rejection of the appointment.
• Click on My Bio Data and fill in the details like Birth Certificate Entry Number, Marital Status, NHIF Number, and NSSF number. Make sure everything is okay and submit the details.
• Select the Offer Letter on the menu to access the letter. Click on Export Function once it is loaded to print it a PDF or so.
• Click on Bio Data Report to download the Bio Data Details Form which are required when reporting.

Requirements for When Reporting for the Public Service Internship

Once you have the PSC Internship Offer Letter, make sure you also download the Bio Data Form. Make sure you also enter the Bank Account Details. When reporting carry the following documents: –

On reporting to the workstation, you will be expected to submit both the Original and Copies of the following documents:

i. A copy of your appointment letter;
ii. Bachelor’s degree certificate and transcripts;
iii. National Identity Card or Passport;
iv. Birth Certificate;
v. KRA PIN certificate;
vi. A valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations:
vii. Two (2) colour passport size photographs;
viii. National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) card;
ix. National Social Security Fund (NSSF) card; and
x. A duly filled personal bio-data form (printed from the Internship Management System – http://pscims.publicservice.go.ke/jobs/ or http://www.psckjobs.go.ke).
