University of Embu (UoEm) is a fully fledged public university. The university received its charter in 2016 when it became a fully fledged university from Embu University College which was a constituent college of University of Nairobi for 5 years. The university has undergone transformation to be one of the best universities in the region. It is located in Embu town and offers a series of courses. The university also has a TVET institute where students who have failed to secure admission to degree courses can pursue diploma or certificate courses. In this article, we outline the process on how to download the University of Embu admission letters for the year 2024/2025.

The university has shared the procedure on getting the 2024/2025 admission letters for both bachelor’s degree and TVET courses that were placed by KUCCPS. The university also has an online application portal that allows students to apply for admission through the online system. It is also through this system that students placed by KUCCPS can download admission letters as they are required for admission.

University of Embu (UoEm) admission is split into 3 intakes that run throughout the year. For instance the January intake, May intake and the September intake which brings in more government sponsored students placed by KUCCPS. Before downloading the Embu University admission letters, you need some requirements which we will outline below.

Requirements to Download University of Embu Admission Letters

The UoEm admission letters can only be downloaded from the admission portal. The portal requirements students to fill out personal information and attach the following documents:-

1. KCSE certificate/result slip
2. National ID card/Birth Certificate
3. Passport Photo

The above documents are required to be uploaded online before being able to download the admission letters.

How to Download University of Embu Admission Letters Online

The procedure is simple and not different from some institutions like Chuka University. Proceed to follow and download the admission letters for free.

• Visit University of Embu website through the university website
• On the university website, scroll down and click on KUCCPS Admission Letters
• Once loaded, depending on your level of education, click on KUCCPS Admission Letters for Bachelor’s or Diploma and you will be redirected to the admission portal.
• On the admission portal, locate Government Sponsored Students and click in Login 
• Proceed to enter your KCSE index number followed by /2023 then click on Login
• Fill in the personal details and upload the required documents and save the download the UoEm admission letters online
