Key Responsibilities of Driver at Bukura Agricultural College

• Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling and oil systems, electrical system, tyre pressure, and brakes;
• Detecting and reporting malfunctioning vehicle systems;
• Maintenance of work tickets for the assigned vehicles;
• Driving the vehicle as authorized;
• Security and safety for the vehicle on and off the road;
• Safety of the passengers and/or goods therein; and
• Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle.

Qualifications to Apply for Driver Position at Bukura Agricultural College

1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (Plain) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
2. Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers Grade III from the Ministry of Public Works;
3. Knowledge of the traffic act and related regulations
4. At least two (2) years previous satisfactory driving experience after obtaining the driving license
5. Driving license free from any endorsements and valid for class A, B, C, E
6. A valid one (1) week First Aid Certificate from Kenya Red Cross, Kenya College of Highway and Building Technology or St. John’s Ambulance;
7. Certificate in Computer application;
8. Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
