Egerton University is a public university in the Republic of Kenya. The university is one of the oldest institutions in Kenya and has its main campus in Nakuru. The institution offers training in many courses ranging from certificate, diploma, undergraduate degree, Master’s Degree, and PhD courses as well. In this article, we look at the Egerton University Hostel Booking procedure and the deadline for hostel booking. Students preferably continuing students can book their hostels up to until 15th August 2024 for the halls of residence.

The article outlines the procedure that one has to follow to book Egerton University hostels. Additionally, students need to update their personal details on the student portal to book the right hostel, especially the gender part. All students beginning a new academic year are eligible to book rooms except Faculty of Health Sciences and International students.

Egerton University Hostel Booking Procedure

Follow the steps outlined below to be able to book halls of residence at Egerton University. Escape the rush that comes with hostel booking and looking for vacant houses when one has reported at the school.

Booking Procedure

  1. Log in to studentportal.egerton.ac.ke
  2. Update your profile, especially your gender
  3. Enter your Registration No. as ID then your password
  4. On the left side of the Menu, select Accommodation
  5. Select Hostel, Block, Room Type
  6. Select a Bed space of your choice and book.

The Egerton University booking of rooms will take place from Monday, 12th to Wednesday 15th August 2024 starting at 9.00 a.m.
