EPRA Contacts and Offices in Kenya

EPRA is the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA). It is established as the successor to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) with an expanded mandate of inter alia regulation of upstream petroleum and coal. One of the main functions of EPRA include Generation, importation, exportation, transmission, distribution, supply, and use of electrical energy except licensing of nuclear facilities. The Authority also works to Regulate, monitor, and supervise upstream petroleum operations in Kenya by the law relating to petroleum. In Kenya, many believe that it decides the prices for petroleum products. EPRA has 8 Regional Offices and their offices are not in every county. Therefore EPRA contacts are regional such as Western Regional Offices serving counties in Western Kenya.
