HMD alias Human Mobile Devices has of late been launching devices under the brand name HMD as opposed to Nokia. The handset has released a number of devices into the market which only support 4G. No 5G device has been launched by the company and it seems to probably be working on some 5G devices to showcase their prowess. In this article we look at the HMD Pulse Pro which is a pro of the HMD device series that has been launched by the company.

Unveiled on 26th April 2024, the HMD Pulse Pro stands out with its ability to remove the battery. The device allows users to replace the battery since it is removable as opposed to many devices having built-in batteries.

Display

The phone has a 6.65 inch display screen. The IPS LCD touchscreen offers 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 265 ppi density. The phone is available in a series of colors Black Ocean, Clacier Creen and Twilight Purple.

Platform and Storage

The HMD Pulse Pro Specifications includes the device running on Android 14 operating system. It comes paired with a Unisoc T606 SoC and offers a 1.6GHz octa core processor on board.

The handset comes in several variants based on cameras. The phone comes with 4GB RAM, 6GB and 8GB RAM having 128GB, 128GB and 128GB storage respectively. There’s room for expansion thanks to a dedicated SD card slot available on this handset.

Cameras

The HMD Pulse Pro comes with dual rear cameras and a single selfie snapper. The front features a 50MP selfie shooter. The camera is really capable and can capture good selfies, do video calling etc. The back side features two cameras led by a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera.

Battery

In terms of battery, this device comes with a removable lithium battery. It offers a 5000mAh battery capacity. It supports 20W fast charging to enable charging up faster.
