How to activate TSC Teachers Email and how to access it on your phone

Teachers Service Commission introduced Mwalimu TSC emails in 2021 for teachers that would serve in case of official communication with TSC. Additionally, these emails required activation and setting of security details and 2-step verification that included setting a phone number for verification. In this article, we would love to share how to activate TSC teachers emails and how to access the email on your phone.

The TSC official email ended with the domain @mwalimu.tsc.go.ke. They included information about teachers’ details. The email comprised of the teacher’s official first name as registered and the last name and the last 2 digits of the TSC number. For instance, if my name is Benson Sifuna with TSC No. 004262 my TSC email would be BensonSifuna62@mwalimu.tsc.go.ke. The email also required setting a password that included both lowercase and uppercase letters with numbers.

These emails are official Microsoft Office365 emails which means they can be accessed using Gmail, or Outlook App to access on the phone. We will share how to access the TSC teachers’ email on the phone for free.

How to Activate TSC Teachers Email

TSC gave teachers a timeframe for activation of their email by themselves. However, this period elapsed and if you didn’t activate then don’t worry as there’s another way to do it. The new way to activate the TSC Teaches email follow the steps below.

• Make sure you have your Original ID with you
• Visit the Nearest TSC County Office preferably
• If you can deduce your email the better to use the example shared above. If you can’t don’t worry as they will do it for you.
• Tell the officer attending to you that you need your TSC email activated. or send an email to emailactivation@tsc.go.ke
• You will be given the TSC Official Mwalimu email and the password that has been set for you.
• Once you have the email and the password set for you, visit the official email via https://outlook.com
• Click on Sign into an Account on the Outlook website
• Key in your Mwalimu Email and the password thereafter and login
• When prompted to enter your phone number, key in your phone number and enter the OTP received on your phone to complete the activation.
