Applications are done online through the psckjobs.go.ke which allows potential candidates to register and submit their applications online.

No documents are requested when applying for jobs on the Public Service Jobs Portal. Only the required details are filled in after registered and once the profile is complete, you can now submit the specific job. Only qualified candidates can apply for specific jobs given the level of education.

It is better to have a CV with you when you submit applications through PSCMIS jobs portal. Procedure on How to Apply for a Job using the Public Service Jobs Portal

The procedure is easy to do. It is something that can be done on the phone or PC. It can be hectic on the phone since the portal is not fully responsive. If you don’t have a public service portal account learn how to register here.

  • Visit the Public Service Commision website – publicservice.go.ke and check out the available adverts to ascertain if the application can be done online.
  • Proceed to the Public Service Jobs Portal using https://pscims.publicservice.go.ke/jobs/loginPage.aspx or https://www.psckjobs.go.ke/loginPage.aspx both portals are the same only listed on different sites. Apply for a job using Public Service Portal
  • Once the login page is loaded, key in your ID number and the password you set while registering and Click on Login. You can also reset your password at this stage.
  • Once logged in Click on the Applicant Section then click on My Profile and start filling in the personal details, academic details, professional, work experience, and referees. Make sure you click the Save Button at the bottom of each page.
  • Click on Apply for Job and you will be redirected to the available advertised jobs. Click on the Apply button at the end of the specific job and confirm the same.Apply for a job using Public Service Portal
  • You can check the Status of your Application still on the same page.
