Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) had the Query Management information System alias QMIS that allows individuals to submit applications to the council for attention. The QMIS Portal allows a series of applications that allow candidates and other people to do queries such as changing photo on the certificate, correcting the names, gender, the name of the school etc. The QMIS Portal also allows for confirmation of results , lost certificate, equation of foreign certificates as well. In this article, we look at how to apply for confirmation of results using the QMIS Portal.

KNEC Contracted professionals who include invigilators, supervisors and security personnel can also lodge payment complaints. If they haven’t been paid for services rendered they can complain the qmis portal.

Kenya National Examination Council does not replace lost certificates as it was before. However, they state results to the organization requesting. An organization may request results belonging to an individual to ascertain the validity of the document they provided. They can also confirm through these results for someone who is seeking a promotion for the same.

How to Apply for Results Confirmation through QMIS Portal

Results Confirmation are requested by the organization especially if you’re applying for a job in other countries. Sometimes when you need a promotion the organization may require results confirmation letter from Kenya National Examination Council. This can be done online thanks to the Query Management Information System QMIS. The procedure for application of results confirmation is as follows: –

  • Open your phone or PC browser
  • In the web browser url bar type in the QMIS Portal link – https://qmis.knec.ac.ke
  • You can register if you don’t have an account. Or Login using your email and password sent to your email from KNEC QMS
  • Once logged in, in the menu click on the Confirmation Link
  • Enter index number, exam, year and fill in the organization requesting confirmations details and address
  • Upload copies of the document to be confirmed and submit
  • The council will communicate on the status and give you payment information to pay the all fees for the letter to be dispatched to the organization
