The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) is mandated with testing and licensing drivers and this is done through driving schools. When someone joins a driving school to pursue their driving course, they need something to show around while they continue learning their driving. They usually apply for a Provisional Driving License which is usually valid for 3 months. Upon maturity they can apply for the Driving Test to have them tested and license awarded if they pass their test. In this article, you will learn how to apply for a Provisional Driving License on eCitizen.
Driving License has classes that license drivers for each category of vehicles. For instance there’s a class for 2 wheelers and 3 wheelers, normal vehicle or professional class and then there’s for worries and other types of vehicles. First you have to identify the kind of class you’re going to learn. Once that’s decided then you can proceed to apply for the provisional driving License. Also note that a driving school is needed while applying for the PDL otherwise it might be hard.
