This can only be done with supporting documents for transfer online. TSC Online Transfer Application can be done through the TSC Transfer Portal. Teachers can request transfer to specific schools for secondary school teachers and specific sub-counties for primary school teachers. Teachers can also swap with other teachers to swap stations. Transfers of teachers to other stations are subject to approval by the relevant parties involved. This includes the head of the institution and the director of education at the sub-county level and county levels. There are requirements and reasons for transfer as well.

How to Apply for TSC Transfer Online
To apply for a TSC transfer online as a teacher you need to be officially employed by TSC. And if it is a swap find a teacher from the school or sub-county you wish to transfer to who wishes to swap with you. Additionally, be able to stay 5 years in the school for overstay and have documents of proof for medical.
- Open your PC or Phone Browser
- In the URL type https://tsc.go.ke to access the TSC website and under Online Service, Hover on HRMIS Teacher and click on Transfer
- The TSC Online Portal will load, then Enter TSC Number, ID Number, and your phone number registered with TSC
- Key in the OTP received on the phone and click on Login to be able to access the Transfer Portal
- Once logged in, Click on Submit Request for Transfer
- Fill in the period of stay in the current school, current sub-county, County you wish to transfer to, and sub-county for primary school teachers. For secondary select county, sub-county, and school you wish to be transferred to.
- Select Reason for Transfer
- In the details field enter any explanation you might have
- Choose the date you require the transfer and enter your email address
- Click on the Check Box and click on OK
- Below the application is a list of attachments, for medical or if you have any supporting documents upload them at this place and submit the application.
