DPay allows employees at the Ministry of Defence to access their employee details which also includes payslips and P9 forms. Performance appraisal can also be done through the DPay portal. But what happens if you forget your DPay password? That’s where the problem comes and it would mean that you can access your payslip. But don’t worry. The DPay payslip portal is mostly linked to the employee’s phone number which is essential when it comes to resetting the password. If you need to reset the DPay password it is easier than that of GHRIS or UHR which requires a lot of details to access the reset password portal. The dpay system only requires you to have the phone number registered with DPay and that it must be online at that time you receive the OTP to confirm your identity.

DPay manages employees of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), Kenya Navy, Kenya Air Force and those working within the offices under the Ministry of Defence. To change the password for DPay follow the steps outlined below.

  • Open the Dpay payslip portal https://dpay.mod.go.ke/kd392bf9afa4692kk0d/kdln
  • Once loaded, if you forgot the password click on Reset Password and enter your Service Number and ID Number and click on Reset Password
  • An OTP is sent to the phone number to verify your identity. Enter the received OTP and key in the new password which should be more than 8 characters and repeat the same password
  • Once done click on Save and there you’ve changed your DPay payslip password
