How to login to the KUCCPS Student Portal Online or App

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) offers coordination for the placement of high school graduates to universities, colleges, and technical institutions. Their purpose is to enable students to apply for placement and place them in their respective institutions of higher learning. The application for placement is done through the KUCCPS Student Portal which allows students to login and submit their course choices. Each student has a unique identifier which is the KCSE index number that is different for each student. The year they sat for the KCSE examinations and KCPE index number or password. These are required especially when applying for placement. KUCCPS requires other details before application and we’ll share them in this article.

Requirements to Login to the KUCCPS Student Portal 

To access the KUCCPS Student Portal, you will need the following details and information with you.

• MUST have sat for KCSE examinations between 2000 and 2023
• Have the KCSE index number inclusive of the school code
• Year of Examination (KCSE year)
• Application Fee: Kshs. 1500 and some 100 for transaction charges
• KCPE Index Number or Birth Certificate Number (this acts as your password)

How to Login to the KUCCPS Student Portal 

Follow the procedure outlined below to apply for placement to institutions of higher learning. Make sure you have a strong internet connection either on your PC or smartphone.

• Open your Browser on your PC or Phone (Chrome)
• In the URL bar type kuccps.net and click on Students Portal or simply visit students.kuccps.net/ Click on Login
• Once the page has loaded, you will be prompted for login credentials. Enter your complete KCSE index number
• The next field will ask for your Year of Examination, key in the year
• Under password, type in your KCPE index number and click on Login. If it doesn’t login, use your birth certificate number as your password.
