Meru University of Science and Technology has joined other universities in Kenya to embrace the new fee payment system. The government’s directive allowed students to pay fees directly using eCitizen payment service Pesaflow. The majority if not all universities in Kenya have already embraced this change and students no longer need to pay fees at the banks. In this article, we look at how to pay Meru University Fees Using eCitizen.

There’s no central system for payment of the fees across the universities. Most of these institutions have their own student portals built by different companies. Hence each institution has a different procedure to paying fees via eCitizen. For instance the student portal by ABNO Softwares utilizes the Jiunge payment service that has been incorporated into the portal. Other institutions like Rongo University, Maseno University, Meru University have incorporated the payment within the portal just by filling in the amount.

The institution has allowed students to pay fees online through M-PESA to eCitizen. However, there are requirements that one needs to be able to do the payment of fees especially for Meru University of Science and Technology.

How to Pay Meru University Fees Using eCitizen – The Procedure

To pay the MUST fees, one should follow the steps outlined below. The process is simple if followed correctly. Kindly check out the procedure and do the payment.

• Open your Browser on PC or Phone
• Open the Meru University of Science and Technology website and locate the student portal or simply go to https://student.must.ac.ke
• Once the student portal has loaded enter the admission or registration numbers and the student portal password. If you do not remember the password, you can reset it
• Click on Login and once on the Dashboard click on Make Payment
• On the pop-up or modal, select Tuition Fees and enter the Amount you wish to Pay, and click on Pay Now
• You will be redirected to a page showing the account number and the eCitizen paybill number. Click on M-PESA and Make Payment using the details and click on Complete
