What if you had a KRA pin but lost it or misplaced the KRA pin copy? In this article, we share a procedure and ways on how to retrieve a lost kra pin. A copy of the PIN certificate is sent to the email registered.

All you need to do is login to the email registered with kra and search for KRA. You may be surprised that the copy of the KRA PIN certificate is still in your email. You can print it out and also be able to access the kra itax portal.

How to retrieve Lost KRA PIN with only the ID Number Online

KRA has a self-care or self-service portal. This portal allows individuals to submit requests to kra which are then worked on within a few hours to some days. This procedure requires you to have a colored copy of your ID both front and back. Make sure you scan the ID as you will be required to send it to Kra.

On the kra self care portal create an account and ask your question make sure you include your ID copy and you can also use it to change the email on your kra.

You can as well use the chat with Us option available in the kra self-service portal and be attended to directly.

You can also retrieve your lost kra pin using the email option. Simply scan your ID and email it plus the request you wish to callcentre@kra.go.ke or give kra a call

How to retrieve KRA PIN via the Office

If the Kenya Revenue Revenue Authority offices are near, you can visit the offices with your original ID. Once you have the ID just go directly to an attendant and explain yourself.

Also, make sure you have a functional email just in case the email on your kra is not functional.
