MINET is the medical scheme for the teachers and professionals working under the Teachers Service Commission. Individuals working in this department either the secretariat or the teaching fraternity are eligible for MINET. The MINET documents Portal allows contributors to enlist dependants and also submit supporting documents for the same. In this article, you will be able to learn how to upload documents to MINET documents Portal.

The purpose of the documents is to prove that they are really your dependants. Only dependants listed as active under status will be able to access treatment at medical facilities covered by AON. Therefore it is a good practice to keep checking the MINET portal for any changes or of documents required. This will save you the rush when someone is admitted and they are suspended from the scheme.

The MINET Documents Portal is available online and can be accessed on a phone or PC. As long as you have enough data and have the documents scanned, then you’re good to go. If you can’t do it yourself because of some reason find someone to do them for you.

Documents Submitted to MINET through the MINET Documents Portal

These documents are the ones validated by AON MINET to confirm authenticity and validated the dependant. Only active dependants can access treatment under the MINET medical scheme. Check out the documents you require below:-

  • Birth Certificates for Children under the age of 18 years
  • Children without birth Certificates especially new born babies, use the birth notification
  • Dependants over 18 years and still under school, can use their Birth Certificate and School ID as proof of schooling or letter from the school principal.
  • For spouses, their ID is required and also a document confirming marriage has been done. This can be a marriage certificate or marriage affidavit.

How to Upload Documents using MINET Documents Portal – Procedure

This is the full procedure it is not long and it is easy to follow to upload your documents to the MINET portal.

  • Open your Browser on your Phone or PC
  • Type in the MINET documents Portal website portal – https://collaborationkenya.minet.com/ke
  • Key in the TSC number of the contributor and click on Submit
  • Enter the OTP you just received on your phone from TSC-Kenya and proceed to login to the portal.
  • Once on the dashboard, you will see the list of dependants under. Identify the one you wish to upload the document for them and click on Upload Documents at the end
  • Click on Browse to upload the specific document for each dependant if under 18 use the birth certificate and do so depending on each dependant once done confirm date of birth and click on Submit and you’re done.
