Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Scholarship 2024 is now open. KCPE 2023 candidates are gearing up for placement to secondary schools by the Ministry of Education. However, getting placed isn’t the problem. The problems come in when these children come from humble backgrounds. Their parents don’t have enough income to sustain them in these schools. There are scholarships for Form One Students; such as the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Scholarship Forms 2024, Equity’s Wings to Fly, and KCB Foundation Scholarship.
Jomo Kenyatta Foundation is one of the oldest and sponsors bright students from humble families who cannot afford fees. JKF Foundation sponsors students for four years in secondary school and can be withdrawn if the applicant doesn’t get an average of 50% mark.
Requirements to Apply for the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Scholarship
To apply for the JKF Scholarship, an applicant should meet the following qualifications or requirements for the same. Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Scholarship is available all Kenyans with the minimum qualifications below.
- Duly filled application form. Can be downloaded here
- Certified copy of KCPE Results Slip from KNEC
- Evidence of being an orphan or from a needy background
- Birth Certificate copy MUST be attached
- Passport Photo
How to Apply for the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Scholarship 2024
The application process for the JKF Foundation Scholarship is both online and manual. Individuals who wish their children or guardians can apply via the JKF portal or even use the forms.
- Download the JKF Scholarship From here or the JKF website
- Fill out the forms and attach the necessary documents
- Submit the forms at the JKF Foundation Offices or via e-mail at scholarships@jkf.co.ke
- The deadline for submission of the scholarship forms is 13th April 2022. Successful applicants will know by 29th April 2022. Those who do not receive communication from Jomo Kenyatta Foundation should consider themselves unsuccessful.
