Karatina University locality is rich in Agricultural soils and endowed with tourist attractions within the vicinity of snow-capped Mount Kenya. The serene environment makes it an ideal place for learning. This institution started in 2007 as Mount Kenya Campus of Moi University. It had succeeded a Tea Training institute. In 2010 it became Karatina University College, a Constituent College of Moi University. Finally, in 2013, Karatina University was awarded a Charter. Before admission to Karatina University, one MUST produce an admission letter which can only come from the university. KUCCPS placed thousands of students at Karatina University and before they can be admitted KARU needs to produce admission letters for each student. The university has already generated KARU Admission Letters for the KCSE 2023 students and it is downloadable from the university Admissions portal.

The University is a public university that trains in PhD, Master’s Degree, Degree Courses, Diploma and certificate courses. The institution chartered in 2013 has grown tremendously to allow more student to come in. They have 3 intakes January, May and September intake characterized by KUCCPS placement.

Below is the procedure you can follow to get KARU admission letters. The procedure is simple for anyone to download.

• Open your Browser and visit the Karatina University website – https://karu.ac.ke
• At the top menu locate the item 2024/2025 KUCCPS Admission or hover on the Students Link and click on the same link. You can as well use this link – https://karu.ac.ke/kuccps-admission-2024-2025/
• Once loaded, proceed to click on KUCCPS 2024/2025 Admission Letters Portal to allow you enter the KCSE index number
• While on the Admission Letters portal type in the KCSE index number followed by /2023 for those who sat their KCSE in 2023.
• Click on Submit Index to download the Admission Letters
