Kitale National Polytechnic (KNP) was officially established in the year 1980 and opened its doors as a technical college in 1985. The institution has undergone growth and was in 2016 upgraded to a National Polytechnic. The institution just like many other polytechnics receives students from KUCCPS (Government) to pursue courses of their choice. In this article, we share how to access the Kitale National Polytechnic Student Portal either on a phone or PC.
Kitale National Polytechnic’s Student portal offers students a one-stop solution for various services. Students in need of a hostel can do so by booking online via the student portal. Fee structure and statements can also be downloaded from the portal. One of the most important aspects is the exam cards and also the academic (provisional) transcripts that can be obtained from the KNP student portal.
How to Register & Access Kitale National Polytechnic Student Portal
Once you’ve been admitted as a student at Kitale National Polytechnic, you will be required to access the institution’s student portal and register for an account. Below is how to go about it.
- Open the Kitale National Polytechnic website i.e. https://kitalenationalpolytechnic.ac.ke
- At the top menu, on the far right locate the menu item Student Portal Login and click on it.
- Wait for the page to fully load and you will be asked for Registration Number and password.
- Since you don’t have an account, click on Create Account and once fully loaded select Role as Student
- Fill in your Student Number (Admission Number) set your Password (repeat the password) and finally click on Submit
- A confirmation e-mail is sent to your student e-mail for confirmation. Login to the email and click on the confirmation link and you’re set to go.
To login to the Kitale National Polytechnic Student Portal is nearly the same way. Access the student portal through https://portal.kitalenationalpolytechnic.ac.ke/ and you will be prompted for login details. Provide them and click on Login and wait for redirection to the portal.
