KRA Self Service Portal – this is a KRA portal that allows individuals to self-service and find solutions to KRA issues without the need to visit the KRA offices. This allows individuals to get help from KRA staff just from the KRA self-service portal. The Kenya Revenue Authority is mandated with revenue collection in Kenya. The authority requires Citizens to own a KRA PIN when they attain 18 years of age. However, once in a while wrong email or the wrong taxpayer information or tax obligation. The KRA Online Support and support portal allows individuals to change information easily.

Requirements to use the KRA Self Care Portal

For assistance with KRA Services through the KRA iTax Support Centre online, you need the following documents. These will be used to verify your identity and that you’re not impersonating someone.

  • ID Card copy (Original Scanned or Photographed) in colored from
  • For companies, a Company Registration Certificate
  • Company CR12
  • Valid and working email address

How to Use the KRA Self Service Portal

This portal can be accessed using the Itax portal easily or using the Contact Us page. The portal allows individuals to ask questions which are then responded to within 24 hours and some can take longer. Others can be attended to immediately like chatting with a representative.

  • Visit the KRA iTax Portal using the link https://itax.kra.go.ke
  • Once loaded, click on Report Problem at the top right corner – Click Here
  • Click on Login/Sign Up and provide the required information, set your username and password then proceed to login
  • Click on Ask Question to simply ask what you need to be helped. Remember to attach the required documents.
  • You can also click on Chat with Us and wait for your turn to arrive and an agent will respond to your request.
