KUCCPS 2024 Inter-University Transfer is Open until 4th July 2024

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially opened the 2024 Inter-University Transfer of courses. The KUCCPS student portal will be open for students who wish to transfer between institutions to other courses of their choice. The inter-institution transfer is usually done at a fee that is payable through the eCitizen paybill number 222222 once the process is done.

Many students were placed in universities they did not plan to go to. Or probably they did a late application and decided to apply to the available instructions. These students can do Inter-University Transfer of courses to enable them access the universities for specific reasons. The process has been opened for a period of 1 month from 4th June 2024 to 4th July 2024.

What are the charges for Inter-institution Transfer of courses on KUCCPS

Application for the Inter-University Transfer online through KUCCPS is not free. It is charged just as it is the case for first time revision of courses and where subsequent revisions use the payment made previously. The charges are slightly lower than the application fee during revision.

Inter-university costs Kshs. 1,000 which is payable through eCitizen during the application for transfer online on the student portal. Students intending to apply for course transfer can do so with the above amount which is required before submission of the application.

How to Apply for Inter-institution Transfer of courses

The process is simple just like the application process for first revision. Students need to access the KUCCPS student portal and login using the KCSE index number. The process then requires one to search the programs and note the course code from the university they need to apply to.

Additionally, they should make sure they meet the minimum qualifications and cluster points as well. The application is completed with payment of the application fees of Kshs. 1,000.
