KUCCPS Opens First Revision

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened applications for the first revision of courses. This is for students who sat for their KCSE examinations in the years 2000 – 2023 and have never been placed by KUCCPS. The application is open for degrees, diplomas, certificates, and artisan courses. The application will run for 12 days. KUCCPS opens applications for the first revision of courses and this is done through the KUCCPS Students Portal.

KUCCPS First Revision is the first revision after students have received their results. The center application is done by the schools and when students are yet to sit for KCSE examinations. All students who have merited at KCSE can apply for any of the courses depending on the qualifications of the respective courses. Only those with C+ can apply for a Degree and so much more.

Applicants can apply to be placed into Universities, TVETs, TTC institutions and KMTC as well. KUCCPS has specified Artisan as Level 4, Certificate as level 5 and Diploma as Level 6. The application can only be done online through KUCCPS Student Portal and money paid through eCitizen.

What do you require to do the KUCCPS first revision? The required needed for application include: –

  • KCSE Index number
  • KCSE Year
  • KCPE Index Number
  • Birth Certificate No/Entry No

First Revision Courses Booklet

All the courses eligible for application exist on the KUCCPS Student Portal. To check out the courses click on Programmes and you will find the course categories, click on the Category and pick the course to check the subject requirements and qualifications.

How to Apply for First Revision using the KUCCPS Student Portal

To apply, follow the procedure below: –

  • Find the KUCCPS website via https://kuccps.net and once loaded click on Student Portal.
  • If it takes longer than normal to load just go direct to the KUCCPS Student Portal – https://students.kuccps.net
  • Click on Login on the portal fill in your KCSE index number, year of examination and KCPE index number as the password and click on LoginKUCCPS The Placement Service Application
  • Once logged in, click on Application/Revision, With an updated profile, it will automatically direct you to the application portal. Otherwise, make sure you update your profile by giving your email address, parent’s email, ID number and phone number. Also county of resident and sub-county/constituency and address.
  • Under programs locate the course you wish to pursue and note down the course code for the programme in the institution you wish to join. Do so for each course.KUCCPS The Placement Service Application
  • On the application page, enter the course codes in the order of your priority or preference and submit.
  • Proceed to pay the required application fee via the Portal and confirm payment.
