Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially opened applications for placement to TVET institutions. Individuals who sat for their KCSE from the years 2000 – 2022 and have never applied through KUCCPS are eligible for application. KUCCPS Opens Application for TVET Courses and will run until 2nd January 2024.
Applications for the courses can be done through the KUCCPS student portal – students.kuccps.net. Once the page has loaded applicants need to select colleges and technical institutions of their choice and note the course codes. These codes are the ones used to make applications for the courses they want. Additionally, you can pay for the application online using eCitizen.
KUCCPS Opens Application for TVET Courses
KUCCPS is calling on qualified individuals to do Diploma, Certificate and Artisan courses via the KUCCPS student portal. The portal can be used by those who wish to be placed and benefit from the Government’s capitation. Outlined below is a procedure on how to do the application for KUCCPS TVET Courses.
- Open your Mobile or PC Browser, or simply Download the KUCCPS app from Play Store.
- Open the KUCCPS Student Portal via https://students.kuccps.net/
- Wait for the portal to load fully, and enter your details to log in. You need the KCSE index Number, Year of KCSE examination, and KCPE index number or birth certificate number
- Key in the KCSE index number, and put the year and KCPE index number as the password.
- Click on Login to access the portal
- Find the courses using the menu available under programmes and note the course of your choice. Be sure to pick from the institution of choice.
- With the course codes, proceed to click on Applications and click on Apply.
- Key in the course codes with the priority of the TVET institutions
- Once done, click on Submit and a modal/pop-up prompting for Search Code or M-PESA transaction appears.
- Pay kshs. 1500 using eCitizen Paybill 222222 and note the Account Number
- Enter the Account Number you paid the 1500 or the M-PESA transaction code.
