Motorola Moto S50 is a 5G enabled handset that will soon be hitting the stores. The phone is yet to be announced but we had a glimpse of what it brings on board. The Motorola Moto S50 5G is a 5G phone that packs a LTPO P-OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is also IP68 certified meaning it is dust/water resistant for 30 mins up to 1.5m. Further, the handset display is expected to have a 6.4″ display size and a 1256 x 2760 pixels screen resolution. The display is also rumored to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 (way too old).
In terms of software, the phone runs Android 14 operating system. The 2.5Ghz octa core processor comes paired with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 (4nm) system on chip that ensure performance is great just as 5G support. Storage-wise, the phone gives he vibe of 8 Gigs of RAM for 256GB and a 12GB RAM for 512GB of storage. There’s no SD card slot on the Motorola Moto S50 5G.
The Motorola Moto S50 comes with triple camera setup at the back. Th front has single sensor. The rear side is led by 50MP wide angle camera, 10MP telephoto lens and thirdly a 13MP ultrawide camera to sum it up at the back. The front side offers 32MP wide angle camera with support of up to 4K@30fps video.
With this handset, there’s an under-display fingerprint scanner. It does support 4G network, but lacks a 3.5 mm audio jack. It features a USB Type-C 2.0. The phone will be available in Nautical Blue, Latte, Grisaille, and Poinciana colors.
Motorola Moto S50 derives its power from a non-removable battery with 4310mAh battery capacity. The handset supports 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
