Requirements to Make NSSF Voluntary Contribution using M-PESA

How to Make NSSF Contributions using M-PESA

To remit NSSF contribution via M-PESA, please follow the following steps.This will allow you to save with NSSF and request the benefits on maturity at 50 years.

• Go to the M-PESA menu on your phone or open the M-PESA app
• Click on Lipa na M-PESA option
• Select the Paybill option
• Enter the eCitizen Paybill Number i.e. 222222 and click OK
• Select the Enter Account Number option and type in NSSFV-NSSFNUMBER where NSSFNUMBER is your NSSF number for example NSSFV-123456789 where 123456789 is your NSSF number and click OK
• Enter the amount you wish to contribute
• Key in your M-PESA PIN and hakikisha that the amount is being paid to eCitizen.
• Wait for confirmation from both M-PESA and eCitizen
