Sigalagala National Polytechnic is an old institution in Kenya and one of the oldest National Polytechnics in Kenya. The institution was established long ago in the year 1950 as the Nyanza Technical and Trade School. It later became a National technical school in the year 1967 and has grown ever since. The National Polytechnic allows students who do not merit on KUCCPS or closed out by the deadline to apply directly. To ease the student admission process and application, students are advised to use the Sigalagala Online Application for admission process. Those who wish to join by January 2022 should apply by now. The application fee is only Kshs. 500 paid through the M-PESA paybill provided by the institution.

Procedure for Sigalagala Online Application

• Visit the Sigalagala National Polytechnic website i.e. sigalagalapoly.ac.ke
• On the home page click on Admissions or simply click on https://sigalagalapoly.ac.ke/admissions, Scroll down and click on Application Links for Main Campus, Maturu Campus, and Town Campus
• The page that follows provides a way on how to fill the forms.
• Click on the Application Link here or the institution’s website
• Fill in your email address (a working email address) and note that this will be used to receive your admission letter.
• Select the Course you wish to do from the selection provided.
• On the next page, fill in the required information such as mean grade, mode of study, campus, ID number, full name, address, phone number, parent/guardian names, and phone numbers. You also need your KCSE and KCPE index numbers plus the years you sat for them.
• Attach your ID card copy and KCSE Certificate
• Enter the M-PESA transaction code that you received after paying the application fee.
