TSC Number Registration Required Documents and other Details

Then you need to register for a TSC number in order to be qualified to teach. Schools require individuals to have TSC number as one of the qualifications for any position be it in the board. The Teachers Service Commission allows registration for a TSC number from anyone as long as they are qualified and suited to teach. Registration requires one to submit the application online and upload scanned copies of certificates online. Alongside the certificate there are other TSC number registration required documents.

TSC Number Registration Documents

Below is the list of documents that are required to do the application. List them down and check those you already have before processing to acquire the rest. The documents include: –

1. Color scan of academic and professional certificates
2. Academic Transcripts for Secondary School Teachers
3. National identity card
4. One passport-size photo
5. KRA pin
6. GP69 form
7. Certificate of Good Conduct
8. Entry and work permit for non-Kenyans.
9. Registration Fee of Kshs. 1050 payable through M-PESA

Note that TSC does not require certified documents nowadays. Therefore you need to scan the original copies of your documents

To note, you cannot apply for a TSC number using a result slip or invoice for good conduct. The application will be rejected and you will have to redo the process once again. Therefore, make sure you have all the documents above to apply for TSC number registration
