Teacher Service Commission made it easy for teachers to apply for their leave of absence online. The TSC online leave application portal is open 24/7 and allows individual teachers to submit applications for leave for annual leave and other leaves available on the portal by just logging into the portal.
TSC Online Leave Application Portal is done online with the application link below. Documentation is needed for the leave application to support the application for ease of approval. The leave, however, cannot be approved by the school head but by the TSC sub-county directors of education.
The same portal is used for other services but with different sub-links for the purpose. It requires teachers to log in to the application portal. Once logged in TSC will present the teacher’s details for the leave application.
TSC Online Leave Application Portal; How to Apply (the procedure)
The procedure is self-paced and it is a do-it-yourself kind of thing. You only need your details as a teacher, a stable internet connection, and a smartphone or PC. Follow the procedure outlined below: –
- Open your Phone Browser or PC browser
- Visit the TSC Leave Application Portal or simply click on this link https://hrmis.tsc.go.ke/tm-app/apply_leave
- Enter your TSC Number, ID Number, and phone number linked with the TSC
- Click on Login to receive an OTP to your phone number
- Key in the One Time Password (OTP) and click on Login
- TSC will then populate teachers’ details like Names, School, and TSC Number
- Submit on Apply to submit a new leave application
- Select the Type of Leave; Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Maternity Leave, Official Leave, etc
- Pick the Start Date for the leave and end date
- At the bottom click the attachment plus (+) icon to add supporting documents such as birth notification for maternity leave
- Click on Upload to upload the document and submit the application at the right icon.
- You can print the application details for reference and follow up
- Follow up with the Head Teacher to acknowledge the application
