University of Nairobi (UoN) is the top-ranked university in Kenya and among the top universities in Africa. The institution admits students to pursue courses from the Diploma to PhD level. How to access the University of Nairobi Online Student Portal

The University of Nairobi Student Portal (SMIS) online portal can be accessed from any device. This can be done on a smartphone or PC as long as you have a strong internet connection. Apart from that you also need the UoN student registration number and the password to the UoN Student Portal. Follow the steps below to access the UoN Student Portal.

• Open your device browser on PC or Phone
• In the URL bar, you can Google Search; UON Student Portal or simply click on the direct UoN Student Portal link https://smis.uonbi.ac.ke/
• Once the portal is fully loaded to access the information, key in your registration number and password and click on Login
• In case you do not remember the password use the Forgot Password link at the bottom of Login and follow the necessary prompts.
• Once logged in, the Portal will indicate to you that you’re logged in with the registration number and names being shown as in the image below
• You can now check on your Profile to update it, check the fee statement, check out the timetable and do course registration, and many more.
