The vivo V30 was announced on 4th February 2024 and the handset will be hitting the markets by 4th March. The phone is the standard variant of the vivo V30 Pro that will soon hit the markets as well from the same brand Vivo. The phone features nearly the same specifications as the pro version with the big difference being seen in the camera department and system on chip.
This handset has a similar display of 6.78-inch screen size. The phone comes with triple rear cameras, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. It also has an inbuilt battery with 5000mAh capacity.

Display and Design
The vivo V30 is not so different from the Pro in terms of design. It has the same camera module holding the three rear cameras. An under-display fingerprint scanner with 7.5 mm body thickness. It is slightly light with 185 grams as the weight.
The handset comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. The phone features a 1260 x 2800 pixels resolution and a 453 PPI pixel density. The screen is protected by the Schott Alpha glass.
Platform and Storage
The vivo V30 runs on Android 14 operating system with Funtouch 14. It comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with 4nm process tech chipset. The handset features 2.63 GHz octa-core processor at its highest. The graphics are done by the Adreno 720 by Qualcomm.
In terms of storage, the phone comes in several variants based on storage. There’s 8GB RAM with 128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB with 512GB of storage. No SD card slot is available.
Cameras and Battery
The handset comes with triple rear cameras. The back side has a 50MP wide-angle camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera has a 50MP camera sensor.
The vivo V30 features a non-removable battery pack. The battery has a 5000mAh battery capacity. It supports 80W fast charging with support for reverse charging as well.
