WhatsApp is one of the leading social media apps. According to WhatsApp X status or Twitter status, the company has announced that now you can pin multiple WhatsApp messages or photos, or links within a single conversation. This is possible in one on one conversation or even in groups. WhatsApp Pins now allows you to pin up to three messages. These can be important messages that you wish to get back within some time. Pinning them will be the easiest way to access the messages within the conversation.
The process is simple and doesn’t require any expertise to pin a message in WhatsApp. All one needs to do to pin a message is to head over to the conversation. They can press and hold on the message or single chat they want to pin and click on Pin. Thereafter select the period you want the pin to last. Once a message is pinned in WhatsApp, it appears at the top of the conversation and can be accessed easily by just tapping on the pinned message.

Once, the first one is done, you can also click on a single message tap and hold and tap pin as well. WhatsApp allows you to pin multiple messages and in this case only 3 messages at one time. The pinned messages are one stacked one after the other. They are scrollable by just tapping. You can be redirected of the first message and if you cock again you are directly taken to the other.
How to unpin a pinned WhatsApp Pins Messages
Unpinning a pinned WhatsApp message is easy. Make sure you’re within the conversation you wish to unpin a message. It is possible to remove a pinned message before expiry of the validity of the pin.
By tapping on the pinned messages, it takes you to the specific message. Tap and hold on the message and boom the menu that pops up tap on unpin and the pin is deleted.
Another way is to wait for the expiry of the validity period. For instance a message that has been pinned for 7 days will only last for 7 days. Thereafter the message will be unpinned automatically.
Pinning a WhatsApp Message in Groups
WhatsApp Group admins can choose to allow individual members to also pin messages in the group. It also does allow multiple pinning of messages up to 3. With WhatsApp groups message pinning, they can be pinned by anyone depending on the setting managed by the admin.
A new member who joined a group after the message was pinned cannot see the message. An individual who deletes a pinned message won’t be able to see the pin as well.
